For Sale, 1957 MCI Bus courier 96 Silversides Skyview
Price: $25000 SOLDUsed RV for Sale, This vintage bus is full of light and great energy from all the windows. Solid old growth mahogany wood is used on all the cabinets, walls and doors, as well as solid 3/4" thick oak floors. .All of this woodwork is done in a nautical style, as in a wooden ship. The exterior is stainless steel and aluminum, somewhat like an airstream trailer or aircraft . I have bought brand new driver and passenger seats although they are not shown in the photo.And other improvements too! There are no major mechanical issues. The only thing not fixed yet is the speedometer and tachometer and the emergency engine stop button.There is no other problem ,and it runs excellently.It has air-bag/air ride suspension.It has a rebuilt 4-71 diesel with only 45,000 km,two new 8D batteries, and 5-speed manual Spicer manual transmission, and 85% rubber. It has had a fresh oil and lube ,filter ,antifreeze etc. all done about 200km ago. I had "TOM'S RV " business go over the whole bus and see that everything worked right, and service,upgrade,and repair all the bus's RV-type systems where necessary. They also certified the propane system with the sticker.There is 4 burner propane stove and oven, a microwave, a 35,000BTU furnace, a water-heater, a 3-way fridge and freezer, two roof air-conditioners ,a toilet and a telephone- type shower,a large fresh water tank , and large grey and black tanks, a brand new never used $1,000 bedroom queen mattress, and all LED lighting, including outside turn-signals. And too much to list. It's BC registered as motorhome. I am reluctantly putting it up for sale . I have been asked frequently this year if I would sell the bus, and several notes were also left on my bus windshield inquiring.One note this summer even offered exactly the amount that I am presently asking .Its finally available.
