Selling my RARE Starcraft Starcruiser. Moving soon and cannot store it any longer. It is semi restored, meaning a lot of labor has been put into this awesome beast. The floors were retiled in a very nice tile as well as Black Granite on the counter top. The entire inside was repainted white to match the green original vinyl. I replaced the inside passenger wall with new slotted paneling. I replaced the carpeting in the drivers and passenger seating area as well as the steps leading into the RV. The bathroom was fully repainted in White and Black. I tinted all the windows Black.
What's still needing to be done.
AC unit- Needs replacing- $400.00 at AZ RV Salvage
Needs fresh water tank- $ 70.00 On Amazon
New windshields-These are flat laminated glass and I got quotes for about 600.00 for the pair.
New Grey water tank- $40-75.00 new online.
Rear passenger side window cracked. - Can use Plexi Glass. Home depot. 60.00
Inside bed cushions need to be done. I have all the new foam as well as the fill for throw pillows. This stuff is crazy expensive. You can now complete to your hearts desire.
The tires have 90% tread and are Michellins. The motor is a Dodge Hemi 413- Odm says about 95,000. It runs strong but the carb needs a rebuild. I did drive it from Cave Creek to Mesa. I start it monthly. I feel it needs a manual choke for startup.
I had every intention of finishing this to the end and keeping it. These are the only RV'S ever made with a complete fiberglass shell over a frame. I was lucky enough to come across this a few years ago as they NEVER come up for sale. They are very retro looking and are very desired. Restored to original shape these sell for over $30,000. New retro I call it. I also put a Thule storage unit on top with the original, which is still functional.
No low ballers... I know the value of this awesome rig finished and where it currently stands in the restoration process.
Call me for more info if serious. I do have this posted in many places and it will NOT last. This type of Retro RV is all the rage and in demand. Grab it before it is gone....You will not see another one for sale. I have checked for over 3 years.
