This is a 1962 GM 4106 Greyhound Bus Conversion, vin # 4106913. I bought this rig about 8 plus years ago fully converted and have done my own upgrades and improvements to it also. I have paperwork and receipts for all the work from the original conversion till now. The original conversion came in at over 62,000.00. The bus has a Trace 2500 Inverter / Charger, exterior water hose and air supply, Generac 3500 Generator, 6 gallon hot water heater, propane driven central forced air heater, New start up batteries, jake brake, solid oak cabinetry, 12 volt srip mood lighting that still needs to be wired into the aux battery bank, along with much more. All the tires are in barely used condition with 2 extra Hancooks. I have changed the look on the interior some to fit my style and have added a 2 way Domestic Fridge / Freezer, small microwave and toaster oven, surround sound entertainment, dark tinting on the widows, eight 6 volt deep cell house batteries, solar panels, Alcoa alloys of which the rear two still need to be installed and probably more that I can not rememeber.. I am the 3rd owner and the previous owner had the 8V71 engine rebuilt and an Allison automatic transmission installed. There is also a power steering upgrade. All this was done approximately 27K ago. The bus is really just starting to break in. I also gathered parts from a later model American Motorhome that I thought would be a nice upgrade to this unit but never got around to installing them. This includes a larger capacity waste station with plastic black and gray holding tanks and a nice cleaning station dash. The two rear Alcoa Alloys. I have also purchased a new 100 gallon plastic fresh water tank which is not yet installed. Currently the fresh, grey, and black tanks are stainless steel and I think 70 gal on the fresh and maybe 40 gal each or so on each the grey and black. The GM bus is an indestructible rig, that has hundreds of thousands miles to go on it. It gets a solid 8 miles to the gallon when driven at 70 and up to 10 plus if you don't mind not staying up with highway traffic. I haven't driven the bus in a couple of years but start it weekly. I have been using it as a guest house for company when they visit, but am now ready let it go as I want the space back. It saddens me that it is not on the road. It also has 2 cracked windows, one of the sliders on the passenger side and the front entry door glass. Both are available through the internet, something that was easy to live with but I never got around to replacing. Exterior paint has also lost it's sheen. I am happy to forward additional photos and give as much info as you ask.... All this rig needs is your personalization as any vintage unit evolves through it's new owners. I am a motivated seller as I want to see the rig being used and I want the space back in my yard. I'm also open to trades so let's talk!
