For Sale, 1984 Toyota Shasta Motorhome
Price: $5500 SOLDUsed RV for sale by owner, found this one was listed in Craigslist about 4 days ago, as shown here is 1984 Toyota Shasta Motorhome 21' long motorhome with properly cared for. The owner says is good overall with a few minor issue but it easy to fix it, very reliable 4 cylinders engine backed by four-speed manual transmission and really great fuel economy averaged 17mpg and has been driven about 138000 miles, free mechanical issue with few new parts. Need detail please read below.

For sale is a great Toyota motorhome. These things are real champions. They run forever if they have been properly cared for - and this one has!
It's spent most of it's life on the west coast. I recently purchased it and put some work into it and then went on an amazing road trip with it and it was a pleasure to drive. It fits in a regular parking spot and is pretty easy to handle.
Four speed manual. I averaged 17mpg on this trip - and that was loaded down with lots of stuff! Really great fuel economy.
You might be shocked how much fits in a 21' motorhome. Tons! There is a loft bed above the cab, which is I think a full/double bed. It's very comfortable and surprisingly spacious. At the rear of the coach there is a kitchen with a four burner stove and small oven, a kitchen sink and plenty of cabinet storage. There is a mini-fridge which can be run off shore power, or off an inverter (you will need to get a new one because the current one might be broken, more on that below). To one side of the kitchen is the exterior door, and on the other side is the full bathroom with toilet, shower, and sink. It's a wet bath- meaning no separation of the toilet and shower area.
Between the sleeping loft/cab and the rear kitchen and bathroom is a sprawling living space with a couch that folds out into a small bed, two captains chairs, a small table (fixed in place but removable) and a larger table that can be stored away or put in place using movable legs. Plenty of overhead storage in the living area.
I made some big investments into the mechanical side of this RV:
+Brand new starter
+Brand new fuel pump
+Cooling system overhaul including new clutch fan, radiator cap, etc.
Needs:
-Will need rear break pads and drums soon
-Very small water leak in the ceiling when it rains hard (can be easily patched on the roof)
This RV is not perfect, but it will get you to where you are going and you will have a great time. These are hard to come by.
